Our mental health therapy fees are sliding and depend greatly on the services you need. During consultation our fees will be provided to you. We can also discuss the option to utilize your healthcare insurance.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. We use a service called Stripe, authorization for charges to credit cards and a valid credit card must be on file prior to starting services.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
In-network: This is a service we maintain to offer simplicity for our clients and ourselves. There is no added fee for this service. We are currently awaiting credentialing for the following insurance panels: Aenta, Cigna, Humana, Careolon.
Out-of-network: We are considered out-of-network for all other insurance carriers. You may be able to receive reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to inquire if your plan covers out-of-network mental health coverage. It is helpful to ask if you have a deductible and inquire about the maximum allowed reimbursement for psychotherapy.
You will be responsible for all payments before service and can request a “superbill” at the end of our session, which allows you to submit your bill for possible reimbursement. We can offer a superbill for you to submit to your insurance, however, this doesn't guarantee reimbursement. You can check if your insurance reimbursement by visiting the website below, please note this does not guarantee payment and this is not a contract for service:
We see clients from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. We are closed on Federal Holidays and have limited availability in the evenings or weekends.
We create a space in which you feel supported and comfortable. A great deal of session time is spent on understanding your current situation and unraveling the reasons for your symptoms. This includes mindfulness, discussing self-care, identifying thinking patterns, and reframing negative thoughts.
We are certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Preparing for your session is an important part of prioritizing your well-being. To ensure you get the most out of each session, it’s essential to:
Prioritize Yourself
This time is dedicated to you and your healing journey. It’s important that you make yourself and your session a priority. Avoid distractions like checking your phone, scrolling through social media, or doing tasks unrelated to your mental health during this time. Your session is an opportunity for reflection and growth, so fully committing your time and energy is key.
Find a Quiet, Confidential Space
Your environment plays a crucial role in the success of your session. Make sure you are in a quiet, comfortable space where you feel safe and secure. Confidentiality is a priority, so it’s important to be in a place where you won’t be overheard or interrupted. This ensures you can speak freely without worrying about being interrupted or your privacy being compromised.
You Are Not Allowed to Drive
For safety reasons and to ensure you can fully engage in the session, it’s critical that you are not driving during our appointments. Therapy requires your full attention, and driving would not only be unsafe but also take away from the focus and reflection needed for your well-being.
This commitment to creating a safe, private, and focused environment is part of our dedication to supporting your mental and emotional health.
We get it. Things come up – work, kids, illness. Please contact us as soon as possible. You can text us, call us, or use the secure portal to let us know that you cannot make your appointment. We require a 48-hour cancellation for all appointments. Cancellations and rescheduled sessions will be subject to a half charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you, and this time is held exclusively for you.
If you are late for a session, you may lose some session time, if you are 15-minutes past the start of your session, we will have to cancel the session. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment or in which the client does not show up will result in a fee of half of the full session price, which will be charged to the credit card on file after the first 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment. After 15 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show. Three continuous missed appointments, cancellations, or no-shows will terminate our professional relationship.
